Mojo Morgan Hospitalized

Mojo Morgan of International Reggae Band "Morgan Heritage" has been hospitalized. On Wednesday night the artist fell critically ill while in studio mixing for the new Morgan Heritage album at the Circle House in Miami, Florida. At this time no further information is available, but an official statement will soon be released. Mojo Morgan who is also on a promotional tour for the release of his single "New Dawn" featuring Peetah Morgan, was slated to co headline over the weekend at the Hot 97FM Boston anniversary. His brother Gramps Morgan will be filling in for him.

Although Mojo Morgan who comes from legendary reggae band "Morgan Heritage" was born in the United States, his family maintained a home in Jamaica, thus his melting pot of music. At the core of his soul Reggae is embedded and always omnipresent but exposed to Top 40 American radio it shaped his musical education.
Alpha-male Mojo Morgan is going on the prowl solo. This cornerstone to the Morgan Heritage super group is taking his message and morphing it into a new hybrid.
He grew up in the rough-and-tumble neighborhood of Bushwick in Brooklyn, New York and went on to live in the stability of a Massachusetts suburb. His father is the legendary reggae artists Denroy Morgan and the group Morgan Heritage had reg
ular play on BET, VH1, MTV, National and International Radio. Surrounded by sessions of intensive vocal and instrumental training, Mojo was exposed to everything from the godfathers of Roots Reggae to top 40 American Radio.
